Thank you for considering the artist known as Michael Hensen. Michael Hensen is a Modern Rock Acoustic artist originating from the Virginia Beach area.
Michael has been described as having a unique modern rock sound, with melodic soulful vocals and highly energetic rhythms. So, what sets Michael apart from most of the musicians in your area, well he’s got a hot sound. Recently he has started to incorporate Custom Beats and Synth sounds into his stage show. Michael Hensen is now performing around the Hampton Roads area. He has played in the local modern rock scene for over 15 years. He has also participated in running a recording studio called Digital One Studios focusing on Modern Rock, Hip Hop and R&B. Michael has played in a number of bands in the area, including Formula 8, Solace, and Jack Tripper. Since leaving the band Solace, he has come up with a new set of original songs that he is now
working with area musicians to play out. He has also played with local artists in a variety of shows. Michael has also ecorded songs from the modern rock, hip hop, r&b and pop genre’s, and has been part events such as summer concerts at 17th st, town point parks stage and local talent showcase Romonta and friends.

Michael has just released 3 CD’s to CD baby and songs on Reverb Nation. He has also been distributed to places like Itunes, Napster, Rapsody, Tuncore, Amazon, Bestbuy and about 40 other online retailers. Michael has an online fan outreach reported from Headliner.fm, at 48,631 fans online. Michael also have well over 10,000 unique fan visits on myspace.com and over 7,500 song plays.Michael has played in a variety of venus’ in the south eastern Untied States, There is a list of some of the places on the back of this press kit.
